Day One .... What a great day!

So great to really start working with everyone. I think we had a great day and have already started to do some good work together.

Here's a run down of the work we did and what is due:

MATH:
In math we talked about place value and the ways we can write our numbers.

Standard Form: 123
Expanded Form: 100 + 20 + 3
Written Form: One hundred twenty-three.

Please finish Q 1-8 on the worksheet handed out in class. Challenge yourself and finish the rest of the sheet.


HUMANITIES:
How do you choose a book? Our class came up with great examples. Tonight, make sure to do your independent reading.


SCIENCE:
We looked at how we prove animals and plants are living. We charted the various criteria, and now it's your job to compare them. Use the Venn diagram handed out in class, along with today's notes, to fill in as much as you can. (Due Monday.)
